Welcome to my website! I’m Blake Zajac, a Product Designer based in the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia. With a keen eye for design and a passion for solving small business problems, I specialise in product design, Figma, WordPress development, and am currently learning front end React.

My mission is to create exceptional designs that elevate small businesses to new heights. I believe that great design can make all the difference, and I take pride in my ability to turn innovative ideas into reality. With my expertise in best practices, I ensure that every project I work on is executed to perfection.

My day-to-day work involves designing stunning websites for small businesses that are looking to establish a strong online presence. I work with clients who are just starting out and need their first website, or those whose outdated Wix websites no longer reflect their brand values (sorry, Wix).

My journey as a designer began in 2019 when I joined COG Branding as a generalist graphic designer. Over time, I discovered my passion for product design and front-end development and carved out a niche for myself in these areas.

Prior to my first full-time role, I worked as a freelancer for WindAndRainGG, an Esports organisation, where I created social media designs that gained traction and increased their online following. I also had the opportunity to work with Simmer Studio, a Newcastle-based design agency, where I honed my skills in motion design.

I’m a self-taught designer and web developer who is passionate about continuous learning and growth. I believe that making mistakes and learning from them is the best way to improve, not just in my work, but in life as well.

When I’m not designing, you can find me exploring my other interests. I bowl weekly, play the piano, have a keen interest in fashion, and love to travel and capture stunning photos.
